February absolutely flew by for me. With a focused effort, I ploughed the remainder of my yoga program - I am now a certified teacher! - and a massive amount of wedding to-dos are now to-dones.
Here are a few tips that really helped me through the process:
- If it takes less than one minute... actually, make that five minutes... just do it now. It's amazing how much time is freed up when you battle procrastination.
- You know that thing you really don't want to do, that thing you've been putting off for ever and ever and always? Do it first - right after you wake up, right after you get to get to work, etc - and save yourself the mental agony. I betcha it won't be so bad after all.
- When you're feeling overwhelmed, cut it all down to what's truly important. I suspect, if you're anything like me, there is a lot of filler that can fall away and you won't even notice...
There is something else I realized today...
All of my monthly challenges have made the winter fly by! Not once (seriously, not once!) have I felt the winter blues or even noticed the grey skies. This, ladies and gentlemen, is huge!
So, what more motivation do I need?! Onwards and upwards! :)
I'm going to keep March's theme very, very simple. There are a lot of amazing changes happening in my life - I am changing - and I want to step up the plate to embrace them all. So, March is dedicated to saurya, or courage. You know, that whole "do one thing a day that scares you"... oh, and log it... in writing!
I end today with this quote, which I found on my newsfeed on the book of faces...
"Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out."
Here we go, neck!

P.S. Have I mentioned that I once had a pet turtle? He was pretty cool.
